"INDEPENDENCE OF THE SEAS" at Southampton last week




The cruise ship "INDEPENDENCE OF THE SEAS" was built in Finland by AKER FINNYARDS and delivered to RCI in 2008, she is the third ship of the Freedom Class and was when she debuted at 154.407 GT the largest passenger ship in the world, approximately 4300 passengers is the full capacity served by just over 1300 crew members, she has a cruising speed of 21.5 knots and sails year-round from Southampton, photos taken at Calshot on the 3rd September 2011
