RYNDAM off Funchal

Holland America's cruise ship RYNDAM leaving Funchal, Madeira on the afternoon of 10th November, outbound for a transatlantic voyage to Half Moon Cay, the company's private island in the Bahamas.
This summer was the first ever Europe based operation for the RYNDAM and she is to return next year for similar cruising. She was the fourth and last cruise liner of the Statendam class delivered to Holland America in 1994. The first series of ships of their current modern fleet. It was inicially planned for all four units of that class to have their names started by S, what was eventually given up.© JOÃO ABREU
