"ROYAL PRINCESS" at Dover in 1997

Seen here at Dover on the 29th August 1997 is the beautiful cruise ship "ROYAL PRINCESS", she was built in Finland by WARTSILA in 1984 and named by PRINCESS DIANA on the 15th November 1984 in Southampton, she is 44.340 GRT and can cruise at up to 22 knots propelled by Diesel Engines. This very acclaimed passenger ship sailed for PRINCESS CRUISES until 2005, when she came into service she had an unprecedent number of outside cabins and outdoor space for passengers. The photos here included are quite historic because they were taken just two days before PRINCESS DIANA´s fatal accident
